Learning to sing in a different key
Dear Beloved Well-Meaning Christian Facebook Friends,
Valentine's Day (and other Hallmark holidays like Boss' Day, Grandparent's Day, and Administrative Professionals Day) isn't really about Jesus.
It's really about chocolate.
Just for the record.

Very, very well said!
So true *but I do like candy*
Hmmm... I guess I haven't ever had someone tell me that "I heart Jesus" for Valentine's day ;)
Neither have I. :-)
Three of my Facebook friends posted the same quote of Jesus as their status update for Valentine's Day.
I don't know exactly what they are saying (although I can guess)... but it must be a FB/Twitter phenomenon... seriously, I can't imagine someone sending a card or writing a blog post like that (but I could be wrong about the blog post).
But, inquiring minds want to know...do you write a response?
That is why I buy my wife chocolate instead of an icon of Jesus for Valentine's day. :)
Deb - I did, but later wished I hadn't.
The quote itself isn't what I had a problem with, it was the connection of the words to Valentine's Day that I have a problem with.
